Jul 27, 2008 I bend quite a bit of 1/2" aluminum tubing for fuel lines. I did some 60+ feet worth on my green truck alone. I have an Imperial Eastman tubing bender that does an excelent job so long as the material is forgiving. 6061 does not like to bend, with or without heat. Anything over a 45 degree bend would start to collapse and fracture.
